Canopy walk in Kakum National Park

On Sunday we visited the Kakum National Park - a tropical rain forest near Cape Coast. The most interesting part of the visit was the Canopy Walk....The seven walks constructed on top of trees connecting them with nice walk way offered a panoramic view of the tropical rain forest. We got to see only a few birds, insects and reptiles like chameleon as most of the animals are nocturnal, solitary and territorial.

Some of our team mates were initially overwhelmed by acrophobia - the fear of heights - but were able to overcome that with determination!

Chameleon - one of the very few reptiles we found
